We are here! Bangkok is hot and steamy and we have already hit the shops. Our hotel is fabulous and we are off for a swim this afternoon. We are heading to the Grand Palace tonight and then tomorrow we are off for a tour to the floating markets and a crocodile show - Boo Ya!!!
God it is hot (and smelly)...
Love you all and miss you.

Saturday night... Suday morning

The party on Saturday night was indeed a big night, with so many friends and family there it was the best send off we could have hoped for. Thanks to everyone for coming and making it such a great night. For those of you who got home before 7:45am, you missed a lot. For the few who got home after us, seek help!
A special thanks must go out to our parents for too many reasons to mention, they have helped us so much over the last 26 years and in the last 6 months they have somehow done more.
Also on the special mentions list are Tom and Jo (well more Jo than Tom). They put together the most comprehensive guide to London/UK for us. It's all hand written and contains maps and guides on where to and where not to live, what to eat and how to get around. It is amazing and will help these two green Aussies find their way around the mother country without getting mugged (hopefully!). Thank you so much guys, it's BRILLIANT!
Another special mention must go out to Subie's Flat-mate. Anyone who can have 7 people turn up at their house at 6:30am and happily get up and join the party is special indeed.
We have uploaded some photos to a Yahoo Album Click HERE to have a look at the photos from the party. If you are having trouble viewing leave a comment or email us
Also please feel free to leave comments on any post you would like. We have enabled comments for anyone now, not just members, so post a comment NOW ;)

Stop...Yabbie Time

This is us at Barb's place in Canowindra doing some Yabbying with Nadia and Sunny (Wes' cousins) I proved myself once again as 'Yabbie Queen' (even without my trusty Yabbie Pump).
"What is the technique involved in Yabbying?" you may ask. Well move over Rex Hunt and Rods R Us... we simply tied some old meat onto the end of some fishing wire and chuck it in!
The ''action shot" below dramatically captures the moment when Simon's cousin is being thrown out of the dam... his fate... my belly.
Check check check it out...

The farewell to end all farewells... almost
Well what do we say about our farewell from TMD on Friday?
Other than we are going ot miss EVERYONE there isn't much we can say.
Oh wait, if we mention that a few of the stayers (Nasty Nate, Nath Johnston, Mark, Darren, Nat, Esther, Georgia, Hagan, Marg and I if that is a few) ended up at BBQ King in China town at 12:30am after a 1pm start it may give a everyone an idea of how big a night it was.
A HUGE thankyou to everyone who was involved in our farewells this week, we truly appreciate everything that was organised. The words in the awesome card were wonderful and gave us many a chuckle and let me tell you we are loving the iPods!
We are currenty in Canowindra enjoying some of the very rare rain that is falling right now. We'll write more soon
Love Wes n Marg ;)

IT Golf Farewell

I learnt the hard way that I am not Tiger Woods at the IT team farewell on Friday last week. No matter where I faced or what I did I was slicing the ball like some kind of Iron Chef. Great day, should have had dinner before all those bourbons though.

Mikey Heads Off
In a vain effort to beat us out the door of this fine country Mikey has left our shores today. He is currently sitting on a non stop Qantas plane to New York (no doubt next some buxom blonde knowing his tendancy to fall arse backwards into luck). We already miss him and can't wait to catch up in London for his Birthday on the 29th August. Anyone in the area must also meet up at this time for a few drinks.
