You may have met our flatmate Damien, you may have only read about him in the blog or you may not have a clue who I'm talking about. It doesn't matter because we have a great story about Damien "Danger Mouse" Barret.
Damien recently had a Birthday (the same day as my uncle Jim, Happy birthday Jim by the way) and was given a few laps in a super car as a gift. The supercar was a Ferrari 355 and a very nice one at that.
Damien was doing so well that his instructor let him go a little faster than most people... a deision he would soon regret.
He is not used to driving a left hand drive car, misjudged the width of the Ferrari a little and ended up with one wheel on the grass. So Damien tried to correct himself by putting his foot down a little... a decision he would very soon regret.
long story short; the car spun 180 and ended up sliding along a concrete wall and coming to an abrupt halt completely totaled! that's right, the man who can hurt himself with nothing more than a dishwasher and a fork (another story) was allowed to drive a Ferrari 355 and wrote it off.
Well done Danger Mouse we are so proud! ;)

Jodie met the Queen!
That's right! Our budding international journalist rubbed shoulders with the royals at an event at Buckingham Palace today - and she met the Queen! This followed a night at the BAFTA's where she interviewed the likes of Pierce Brosnon and Charlize Theron...
Tomorrow she is back to the palace for a one-on-one interview with Prince Edward.
Just a normal week really.
(OMG!)
Valentines Day xx
Wes took me out for a divine dinner on Valentines day to The Blue Elephant in Fulham.
He bought me a gorgeous bracelet and a rose and I bought him a Star Wars Transformer. We really do know each other very well!

Cinema, Stodge and Snow
Some of the perks of working for Disney include getting free tickets to kids movie premieres - as our flatmate Damien has discovered. So this morning we headed into Leister Square to see the 3D version of Chicken Little before heading into S&M (sausage and mash) in Notting Hill for some stodge.
Meanwhile... in New York Mikey is experiencing one of the biggest blizzards in New York history! They have had 23 inches of snow overnight - the record being 26 inches 50 years ago!

Aussie Day
Marg and I spent Australia Day appart each with our respective workmates.
Whilst Marg was being shown a good time by the Forsters crew, I had a great time with Dave and his friend Cat.
After a quick work drink we headed into the Shaftsbury Ave Walkabout. Anyone who has been to london for any length of time will know the place I am talking about. Young pisses Aussies, Old pissed Aussies and lots of wanna be Aussies (more of them that the real thing on this occasion). We waited in line fore way too long and when we finally got inside we got amongst it.
We finally got hold of a meat pie at about 9:30 and it was the best thing I have ever eaten.
Drinks were consumed, jigs were danced and laughs were had.
A great night out.
Marg and I met up out the front at about 12 and headed home together.
The next day we received payback in the form of early work starts and angry livers delivering a heafty hang over... It was worth it
-BREAKING NEWS-
On the way out of the Gym last night we ran into Delta Goodrem!
Marg was so excited to finally have seen a celebrity.
