JET

On the 8th the flatties, Sarah, Margie and I all headed to the JET gig at the Hammersmith Apollo.

We decided to keep it pretty Rock and missed the support acts whilst we had a few quick pints at a nearby pub.

Those pints seemed like a bad idea when we got the Apollo however as the men's toilet only had cubicles! Dumbest planning idea EVER. We finally understood why it takes you girls so long in there.

We all got ourselves inside just in time for the set to start and the guys were brilliant! They mixed it up with songs from both their albumns and kept the crowd on it's feet all night.

It was a great night and a big thanks to Nic for getting the tickets sorted.

Final photo of Margie being herself and me looking like a fish.

Man and Wife

On the 24th February my little brother Brodie married his (then) fiancé Nicole in a beautiful ceremony in Brisbane. I was honoured to be in the wedding party beside all my brothers and especially to be there for Brodie and Nicole's big day.

The day was perfect and went off without a hitch. Brode was Handsome, Nicole was beautiful and Margie was a wonderful Mistress of Ceremonies.

For the rest of the night we partied, danced, ate and even sang (well margi did) untill we were all to, er, tired to stand.

There are plenty more photos HERE on our web albumn.

We had such a good time and it has only made us more excited about our own wedding in 6 months... geez 6 months!

Nicole's Hens Night

On Wednesday we flew to Brisvegas just in time for me to attend Nicole's hens night! Jen did a fabulous job of organising the night complete with the classic penis straws and a very easy on the eye waiter!

How to Organise a Wedding in 3 days

So we made it to Aus and back again safe and sound (even if we are still feeling the effects of jet lag) and we had a fantastic time.

We arrived in Sydney first to spend 3 days organising our own wedding before flying up to Bris Vegas to attend Brodie and Nicole's.

As usual the wonderful Wilton clan put us up for our time in Sydney and put on a great feast every night, including a patented 'rellybash' on the Sunday.

in the three days we organised dress fittings, decorations, celebrant, location, running order/timings, layout, colours and I'm sure there was heaps more.

With all this going on we still managed to get to the beach and spend some time with friends. Fairley and I entered a poker tournament and didn't shame ourselves at all making it to the last few tables beating out over 100 other people.

The time in Sydney was over so quickly but is was very productive.
