Verity's party
Last night we braved the 1 degree weather and headed to Soho for Verity's birthday drinks at the Sak Bar.
The silly season has begun...
And so have the Christmas parties! On Thursday night Marg had her work client Christmas party at The Hurlingham Club in Fulham - very posh daaaaarling.
It was a reserved affair (not like those TMD Xmas parties...) but still loads of fun.

So, It's getting cold
We have spent the past couple of weeks getting used to the cold.
Everyone had been going on about the mild Autumn until the Saturday we went to the rugby. In one day the weather turned from bearable to freezing. We have invested in scarves and gloves and whilst out and about looking to Christmas shop on Saturday we had to invest in beanies as well. Today it didn't get above 0 and tomorrow they are predicting snow.
Anyway here's a couple of shots of Margie and I on the tube all rugged up (pre-beanies)
and some of the crowds out Christmas shopping in Oxford Street.
I also want to say a big cheerio to Stu who left TMD last week and Dan who's about to next week. The place will be worse off without you guys.
Enjoy your farewell Dan and have a beer (or better yet a top shelf bourbon) for me.
By for now
PS
only 8 days till Xbox 360 time and Marg is thrilled ;)

Rugby with the Chicks
So Jodie's Dad got us the BEST tickets to the Aus V England Rugby match in Twickenham yesterday. Jodie, her friend Georgie, Marg and I went along.
Being the only guy at the Rugby with 3 chicks is an experience let me tell you! On the way there in the bus and train instead of talking about beer and rugby etc the chicks were talking about shopping, shoes, makeup and junk. I thought I was in for a shocker of a day for sure.
I was wrong. It turned out that Jodes had a shocking hangover and needed beer and food stat so as soon as we got to Twickenham we headed for the nearest pub and dodgy burger stand.
Once inside we found out just how good our seats were, we were right in the front row in the middle of the ground. There weren't Better seats in the house. We soon found out however that we weren't in the rights seats as these were reserved for disabled people. We were in the second row... Oops.
The game was great to watch despite the result and we enjoyed ourselves and a few beers immensely.
After the game we headed to the Tetley beer tent for a quiet one while the crowds died down. Marg and Georgie somehow found a Karaoke machine and sang in front of thouusands of unimpressed POMs. At one stage they had a toilet roll thrown at them but they just ducked and refused to take the hint.
It was a great day if not REALLY cold. We're missing everyone HEAPS.
A special hello to Barb, Nadia, Sarncha and Roge.
Bye for now.

Fairley's 27
Mr Fairley turned 27 yesterday (12th) and we would like to wish him all the best.
He just got back from his Contiki tour with Tanya and 27 19 year old girls, I'm guessing he feels every one if his 27 years after that.
Good luck finding a new place guys and we look forward to seeing you when we get home.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

It's a Boy...
...or so we think anyway.
My cousin Jenni and her hubby Brent are having a baby and we can finally tell everyone about it. Not only can we tell you about it but we can show you baby photos already!
We love you Jen and can't wait to play with our new little cousin.

It had to get boring eventually...
A lazy Sunday saw us staying indoors to avoid the wonderful London weather. I decided that today would also be a great day for a massive breakfast. Bacon, eggs, toast, baked beans, tomato with melted cheese on top, orange juice and a nice cup of tea. Check it out:Then relaxo time. Margie reclined to watch 'The Slipper and the Rose' while I watched shark documentaries with Damien on the couch. So we all got hungry again and decided to cook a huge roast for dinner. We cooked enough for 10 people which is lucky because we each ate enough for 3 people.
Our blog will be back to it's exciting self next week when we head to the England V Australia rugby game.
