That's right - on this day in exactly one year's time we will be walking down the aisle to become husband and wife!
Can't wait!

PCA Awards
Last night I went along to the Professional Cricket Awards dinner with one of my clients who sponsor the cricket. It is an awards night for famous English cricketers - I had no idea who they were. Freddy something or other.

It was an amazing night... highlights included:
1.Getting rather sloshed and insisting on bidding £10,000 in a charity auction for a private jet flight to Monaco. Luckily someone else topped by bid...

2.Being removed from the stage by security at Royal Albert Hall for dancing like a mad woman

...Chelsea FC, You Aint Got No History...
Mus managed to swindle Marg and I tickets to see Liverpool play Chelsea in the Premiership at Chelsea. We have been wanting to go to a game for ages and this was a great opportunity. We got tickets to sit with all the Liverpool fans who were outnumbered 3 to 1 but I think that we held our own.
We were kind of too scared to be Chelsea fans so we decided from that point on we should go for Liverpool... it was just safer.
Liverpool started out really well and the Chelsea fans were quiet whilst the Liverpool fans (ie: us) went nuts singing all manner of mostly rude songs.
Sadly Chelsea scored (an admittedly great goal) and Liverpool (again: us) couldn't equalize and we lost.

Craig and Anita's Wedding
Last Saturday we had the pleasure of attending the wedding of Craig (Wes' boss) and Anita. The wedding took place in Wilton Place (weird!) in Kensington followed by the reception at an incredibly posho place in Mayfair.
The reception included everyting from a magician to entertain guests to a jazz band and unbelievable food.
We had a blast and danced the night away. Wes really took centre stage during the evening... even going as far as to challenge his mate Steve to a dance-off! (he wasn't drunk either) With a crowd of about 20 people cheering him on, Wes tore up the dance floor. I was as proud as punch.

Big Bike Ride
Two weeks ago (We know, we need to get back on track after our trip to Aus) Marg had the brilliant idea of hiring bikes and riding along the Thames to Richmond Parkand back.
A guy delivered the bikes to us in the morning, gave us helmets and a map and sent us on our way.
We rode all the way along the Thames to Richmond and had some lunch at a pub on the water.
We finished the ride by checking out the wild deer in Richmond Park.

Babies and Cows
We got to visit Renee and her family including new member Lochy.
Needless to say we had a hard time keeping Marg off the little fella.
The next afternoon Marg, Caillin and I all wend down to the river flat to see Caillin's cattle. we had a great laugh feeding the cows and watching Marg crawl under her first electric fence.
You can see above just how clean Dad keeps his ute!
It was a fantastic afternoon and I don't think I have ever laughed so hard.

Nice Cold Slab
My brother Dan lives in Bathurst with his girlfriend Luciana and we haden't seen their new house yet but when Dan invited me over I wasn't expecting to have to build the bloody thing! Well... lay a cement slab anyway.
Caillin and I left Marg and Mum in their warm beds and we took his shiny new ute for a run over to Bathurst early as the concrete was being delivered at 9am!
We all pitched in and the slab was down in no time, ready for the shiny new shed. (wow the blog may have hit a new boredom low - talking about a cement slab!).
Anyway it was great to finally see Dan and Luciana's house and afterwards we all went out for a great pub lunch.

Eat a Lot of Peaches
After the hustle of the city it was good to get out to the country for some blue skys, fresh air and a whole lot of family!
We took the XPT to Orange where Mum and Fairley came to meet us. We went straight for the local Village Burger (best in the world!) and then on to Canowindra.
After a couple of days laying about we met up with Kane and Jodie and drove over to Parks to see their new house!
It also happened to be Parkes show day so we went along and enjoyed a ride and some crappy show food, I lost money trying to shoot the ducks whilst Kane won straight away (as usual).
A great start to the week
