It's My Birthday! (and Barb's and Andy's)

So this is how my day started.... a cup of tea and a massive bunch of beautiful red roses. Wes kept his tradition of the last three years of buying me lovely roses on my birthday:) After a wake up call from Ma and Pa and lots of text messages, we headed out for breakkie...

Breakkie was soo yummy. I had scrambled eggs and smoked salmon - my favourite!! You can see Wes had the traditional English breakkie. The picture above is the street where the cafe was which is just around the corner from our new home.

It is of course Barb's birthday today and we wish her all the best and send our love. We wish we could be there with you to get on the bourbons...

It is also Andy's birthday tomorrow - hope you have a great night at Harry's. Have a chilli crab for me!

Thanks to everyone who has called, emailed, texted, left comments on the website and even sent pressies over! (God love you Jess) I even got a bit teary today as it hit home how much I miss you all!!!

Anywho, I am off to get pampered at the hairdressers now and prepare for the festivities this evening. Stay tuned for the photos of tonight...

P.S Wes says no one is to mention the cricket or the rugby. It was bad enough getting it from the POMs now we have to put up with the Kiwis as well! Yes Mum and Dad - you won :)
