Feeling Like a Curry...

We figured we were due for another excursion to Brick Lane for a curry an seeing as how neither Jiri or Jodie had been there before we had the perfect excuse.

We all met up at Liverpool St tube station, Marg and I arrived first and got a bit lost as we came up a different entrance to the one we visited last time. We were pretty embarrassed and had to call Fin to make sure we were at the right place.

While we waited for Jodie we had a quick pint at a nearby pub called the White Heart. We were sitting on the chairs outside which looked a little dodgy and I found out just how dodgy they were when mine collapsed underneath me. I didn't spill a drop though ;)

(1) Yep looks like that Heathrow Injection is kicking in! (2) On the way

Jodes arrived and we headed over to Brick Lane for to fend off the locals and find a cheap meal.

The place we found was great with a free round of drinks and 20% off the bill we knew we were being ripped off somewhere else.

We had a great night even with the Poms at the table next to us bagging us about the cricket (it was Tuesday night after their big parade).

Hi Wes

I used to study at the art school opposite Bricklane and know the white hart well. Many a drunken hour spent in there and the surounding pubs.

Don't mess with the locals though as the pub was owned by a head honcho in the Firm (think Krays bros) and was used for their evening meetings until he met an untimely end.

drink a few pints for me
