On Monday morning at some ungodly hour Mikey got up and headed for the train station. We had an amazing time while he was here, just look at the previous blog entries for evidence of that. Marg and I are now trying to detox as we generally do after spending time with Mikey and we also need to get back into general life, ie: working etc.
Tuesday:
Though we didn't have too long to think about detoxing as Jiri arrived the same day and we caught up with him last night for some dinner at Covent Gardens.
We met for a beer at the White Lion first and caught up on all our adventures. It seems that Jiri has had an fantastic time on his journey through south east Asia and is settling back down (I also hear that Love is in the air for our Jiri, but I'll leave that news for him).
I have seen Jiri order a hot vindaloo curry and ask for extra chilies on top, he is a machine. But last night he was undone by the tiny black peppers that were in his soup. I wasn't even game to touch one after seeing Jiri wince and a little tear escape his clenched eyes.

On the work front it looks like TMD aren't too forthcoming with the contract work they promised (due to hardware/Firewall and time issues at their end) so I have officially started looking for work in the UK. My resume is up-to-date and I have my eye on a couple of jobs, one as a designer and another as a web project manager. I sent off the applications today (Wednesday) so wish me luck!
Marg also seems to be coming down with a cold, or rater her chest infection seems to be coming back so we are off to the doctor today to fix her up. I think all our fun and games with Mikey have left her a bit run down. But not to worry we'll have her as good as new in no time.

Marg - hope you're feeling better! ps. I'm now sitting in your old seat. They haven't changed the phone name yet, so I am reminded of you every time I use the phone.... God help me!! :)
