That's right - LAST NIGHT WES POPPED THE QUESTION AND WE ARE NOW ENGAGED!!!
We went for a lovely dinner to a stunning roof top restaurant (20 floors up) overlooking steamy Bangkok. The restaurant was surrounded with frangipani trees and fairy lights and we had a beautiful dinner (Huge BBQ Prawns and Cocktails)...
After we had finished eating, Wes started to say all these lovely things to me and before I knew it there was a box sitting in front of me and he ASKED ME TO MARRY HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I of course burst into tears and screamed "YES!!!" to the cheers and congratulations of the other diners in the restaurant!!
IT WAS PERFECT!!!
Wes had a STUNNING ring made for me... it is white gold with a 3.49 carat (OMG) oval cut Thai blue sapphire with four brilliant cut diamonds (two on either side)! It is quite a rock! I feel like a princess!
Needless to say, Wes has made me the happiest woman in the world and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with the most perfect, kind, caring, funny, amazing, wonderful, intelligent, fabulous person in the world.
Don't worry - we have no plans to elope. We are planning to get hitched with all of you in attendance when we get home in a couple of years!
We will take some photos this afternoon and put them up on the website!!

I've thoroughly enjoyed reading this Blog with each and every surprise that has come up (glad you made a recovery from the Flu Wes) but this is something from a Jane Austen novel!

Only 10 hours till we fly off for the UK.
10 hours incidently will make it 3am here which is when we fly out... of course.

We aren't planning a family just yet. you guys have the grandkids covered for now and should keep the pressure off for a while anyway.
