Egypt Day 5: Valley of the Kings & Queens

After another early start we headed into the Valley of the Kings. We went inside 4 tombs including King Tut's. His tomb was special not only because we had all studied it for so long from so sar away but because he is still buried there.

We then explored the Valley of the Queens where the art on the walls was much better preserved as there are fewer visitors.

our last stop was the temple of Queen Hachepsut.

Then it was back to the hotel for lots more sunbaking and a night out on the town for some great Egyptian food. It was about then that the sun stoke hit me - we have really turned into Poms...
